Walmart Eyeliner is better than Urban Decay!!!

This is Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner in Black. I got it for under four bucks at Walmart, and I trashed my Urban Decay Black Eyeliner after the first use! The Urban Decay one takes a lot of applications that hurt my waterline to get a decent pigmentation. This one goes on in the first 2 or 3! I love it! Its so gentle and soft on my sensitive waterline, and has great pigmentation. Also, the Urban Decay one quickly gathers in my inner eye corner, which really looks like a gross black eye booger. I hate myself for wasting my time and money on that stuff. This is a must have. Try it! PS I got it in the Sparkle Black color by accident and it turned out its so much prettier and dazzlier-ish than plain black without looking ridiculous. So subtle. Yay. ;)

Mac Lip Glass

 Tinted Lipglass
I'm sure the first words that came to your mind were 'expensive, not worth it,  and just lip gloss.' Well not to sound cheesy or commercial-like, but it actually the opposite. Maybe except for the expensive part.

PRICE: About $16.50 on the Mac site

LASTS?: hours at a time. through eating occasionally

TASTE: Surprisingly and contrary to common lip gloss, doesn't have chemical taste.

SMELL: What? This is Mac. No-smell products.

COLOR I TRIED: Viva Glam Gaga 2 (Nude)

I wouldn't say that this product was more than worth the price, but I would agree that the price corresponds with the value.

It's pointless to spend $6-$7 dollars at a time on lip glosses that don't have good pigmentation, last for about 20 minutes, and have packaging that holds extra product that the stupid applicator can't reach. it goes to waste, and then you buy another one? That's crazy talk. But there isn't a lip-glosser not guilty of doing it.

Admit it. You want to indulge yourself. . .and you rarely do. It's your call, I'm just informing you on the proportionate quality to quantity ratio, and how great both characteristics are. Comment below if you do buy this product so I can say, "I told you so..You're welcome."

Nude Lips are IN! SUMMER 2013

Step 1 wash your hands and rub your lips so the dead skin is off. Don't worry, this is a simple exfoliation that keeps your lips healthy daily. Plus, if you don't do this the dead skin will collect more product, promoting inconsistency and lines which never look good....

Step 2

Revlon Lipstick in 001 the nudest color they offer. DAB it on all over lips lightly until desired color is achieved. Make sure to be extremely careful applying close to the portion of your lips that smack each other because if you put too much it will likely create a line of product that is very unattractive. I always take a tissue and remove some to avoid this.
STEP 2: Bonne Bell Lip Gloss in Cappuccino.
DAB on in dots on lips, getting more product onto wand as needed. Then WITHOUT doing the 'mmmm' thing, smack lips together by sucking them in at the same time. Do twice or three times.
Price: $3-4
Store: I can only find it at Shoprite.
No funky taste or smell. <3

I love this nude lip routine, it gives great color and stays on throughout the day. Don't act surprised when a little gets on your cup or bottle, just casually rub it off like it was nothing. It happens no matter what lip gloss you use, so try to waterfall drinks when you can.

New Clinique Even Better Liquid Foundation

This foundation by FAR is the best I have ever laid my brush on. I thought I was doing really well with drugstore makeup, but I was barely getting by.

COST: $26

VALUE: I would honestly pay 50 dollars for this unworldly quality.

STARS: ***** (FIVE STARS)

SMELL: Has a slight sugary scent, that does not overwhelm me.

COVERAGE: Almost like a mask made of a light, consistent, and sweet scented substance.

RECOMMEND?: In a heartbeat.

WILL I BE BUYING THIS AGAIN?: Definitely. I've had the same one for more than six months now, and every time I feel like I'm about to un out, there's still more.

OVERVIEW: This product was developed by dermatologists, and unlike my crappy old drugstore makeups, this does not clog my pores. The coverage is OUTSTANDING and even though 26 dollars may seem outrageous, do yourself a favor and buy this.Forget Maybelline, Covergirl, Revlon etc. on this one. This is worth far more than the seemingly high price. At first I thought,$26 dollars for an ounce? Forget that I get Maybelline Dream Foundation for 9 bucks. But you use significantly less product when using Clinique vs. Maybelline. I uncap my Clinique foundation and squirt a half-dime sized amount of product onto the back of my hand. And every  time I end up with extra. I just apply the excess to my neck. DEFINITELY use a foundation brush to apply this product. I (presently) will never touch my grimy hands to my face. It spreads oil, pushes inconsistent amounts of product in areas creating a spotted look, and is overall not deficient. Don't be lazy when applying foundation, it could cost you a clear complexion and you'll probably end up globbing Proactive or some sort of expensive and unnecessary cleanser on your acne-inflicted face each day. Please don't simply disregard this post and settle for cheap drugstore crap. Your missing out. YOLO. Keep reading and I'll try to keep up with the blog more! Oh and don't forget to vote on the simple poll on the homepage. It is through the poll that I understand what you guys like and don't like about my blog. ttyl, <3 The Makeup Girl

NEW Victoria's Secret BRONZER!

STARS: **** (4)

This is the new Victoria's Secret Bronzer. It's gorgeous but it's kinda expensive! MAKES YOU GLOW!
PRICE: $16
The ingredients create a high-shine, super pretty glow on the places light hits naturally, such as the cheekbones, nose and/or browbone.
GET IT It's virtually IMPOSSIBLE that it can look wrong.

PROCESS:
Swirl your blush brush around in it,

lightly dab onto cheeks, chin, nose, place where mustache should be and forehead. LIGHTLY!
You DONT wanna be orange in One spot!
Now slowly smear it in without too much pressure applied.

ALSO: If putting it on AFTER a liquid foundation/concealer WAIT for it to dry! You could create a disastrous discolored mess on your face that's REALLY hard to get off. Your best shot is waiting 2 minutes!

I know it's expensive, so I wait for Victoria's Secret to mail me their Secret Rewards Gift Cards that are normally worth $10 bucks. It makes the bronzer an amazing steal at $6 dollars! Thanks guys - Make Up Girl

BEST OF BABY LIPS

Apply Maybelline BABY Lips in Peach Kiss. (The purple one with peach lettering. Don't fe fooled by the attractive colors of Quenched; (Blue and pink)I've tried it and it smells/tastes like plastic; very funky taste/smell is nasty.) That's it! Now you have perfect nude lips that have lasted me 4+ hours! Don't act surprised when it comes off on your drink or when you eat, but normally works perfect for me on a school schedule. Thanks! -Make up Girl

Neutrogena Skin-Clearing Foundation

Neutrogena Skin-Clearing Foundation

My natural skin tone is 545 Warm Beige in Cover Girl Clean foundation. I bought this in 100 Tan.

COLOR: Slightly lighter than color shown on outside.

DOES IT HELP ACNE?: For me? no. For people I know with super dry and sensitive skin? YES. They're acne is SO Little ever since they started using it!

BLENDING: Blends super-easily, but be careful to make sure it still looks blended well after it dries and in the sun, not regular electric lighting. Sometimes it looks real good in electric lighting, but I find lines after it dries in the sunlight.

PACKAGING: I dislike the plastic cap, but it doesn't leak. When capping or uncapping, obviously unwashed off makeup on your hands will come off and cling to the cap. This is annoying and dirty looking.

SMELL: Doesn't smell half as bad as Cover Girl Clean Foundation.

BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would recommend this product and will be buying again.
