How To: Make Lips look Plump without a Plumper

"Plumped Lip" Illusion

This is an ad from Maybelline endorsing Baby Lips chapstick. Look closely at her lips. The bright shine is on the center of her bottom lip and the outer-edge lining of her upper lip. If you take a very light shade of lip liner and line your upper lip, it will look like light is reflecting off of your lip, creating the illusion of plumper lips.

Apply chapstick (most will do) before you go to sleep. The next morning your lips will be soft and supple.

The next morning: First take the light lip liner and line your upper lip, mostly at the Cupid's Arch.

Use your finger and dab the line that you created to smudge it and eliminate the harsh, unrealistic looking line.

Take the same liner and dab it (Do not draw and/or color in, this WON'T work) onto the center of your bottom lip and spread about a centimeter wide. Make sure there are no harsh lines.

Use your finger to smudge more. Now you're done.

NEW Urban Decay Urban Ammo Palette

I absolutely adore this palette. The shades are shimmery but not to the point where you look gaudy, clown-like and/or fake. My favorite colors are the neutral ones; smog, Maui Wowie, Chopper, Sin, Oil Slick and Polyester Bride.
Here is a swatch
this is retailed at around $38 but totally worth it. These colors are also sold in singles at around $17. My personal favorite is Maui Wowie. It is a shimmery silver and when applied wet looks metallic. My next favorite is Sin, which is supposed to be a shimmery Pink but comes out a nude peachy color. My third favorite is the color Chopper which is a tan/skin color with a hint of orange shimmery eye shadow. Bottom Line Yes I will be buying this product when I run out.

Here is a link to a single of Chopper for the cheapest price I've found, which is $16 versus $17.

Maybelline Desert Bronze Quad Review

This a a really good metallic eye shadow quad. I use this only for special occasions because It runs out quickly. :( but its okay because if there was plenty of it I would probably not like it as much. I love to 'foil' it (apply it wet) because it really pulls out the pigment and shimmers brightly. I almost never use the gold (top right) color because it isn't pigmented well.

$2.29 at my local Rite Aid, this product was definitely worth it! ttyl <333 Makeup Girl

(Makes for an awesome Urban Decay Naked Palette knock-off, as long as you don't REALLYexpect it to come out the exact same way!)

Ultimate Lashes

There are 3 steps to Lash Length Insanity. CAUTION: This mascara system may cause others to assume you are wearing false lashes.

Okay lets cut to the chase. I know i've done blogs on all three of these mascaras, and I decided to combine them, and got the craziest, longest, most voluminious lashes.

           So you take your Volumizing, lash-separating
Maybelline the Falsies Mascara and apply it a few times to each set of lashes.

                                                        Looks like this --->

Then you take your mascara that lengthens lashes 60% more. That mascara is Telescopic by L'Oreal.

                   Looks like this --->

And Lastly, You take your second best lash lengthener (make sure you apply this on second because it only gets better) which is the NEW Great Lash Mascara by Maybelline.
